Today is dedicated to reviewing what we have learned over the past five days about Service and Stewardship in our local churches. It is a great time to reflect on what was covered this week including in the comments.
As a reminder, our desire is to make this journey transformative and not just informative.

I know some people at my church have done the Spiritual Gifts Inventory. I think it’s important to know what your gifts are in order to offer the best of our services to our church and to others.
I don’t know if we will go back to “regular” in-person service, but if we do, I’d like to take the Inventory and use my gifts as unto the Lord.

As I’m new in this church in my area, I started to get to know many members, Sunday School teachers, ministry leaders, choir members, I would try to be involved in many activities specifically in two activities I think I would be of great help- ESL and Vacation Bible study. I used to work in Japan as English teacher for retired Japanese and I also used to be involved a lot in VBS at my church in Japan. I already spoke with the leader of ESL in my church here and she told me I could help teach ESL especially there are many Japanese learning English in the church. VBS is also going to kick off on the first week of June.
I can also bring food at church if there is a need for us to provide for some events.
Praying for God’s guidance and help for me to balance my schedule between my official duties in the diplomatic and international communities of Houston , as well as my volunteer work at church.
