40 Days of Discipline: Day 10 – Review

1 Comment

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22)

I hope you benefitted from our group Bible study this week. Today is dedicated to reviewing what you have learned this week. If you have missed any of the days, you can catch up. Also, if you have missed any of the great comments you can go back and review them. Most importantly, think about how you can apply what you have learned.

As a reminder, based on our discussions here are the key principles summarized from the David & Goliath story:

  • Make glorifying God your objective, trust Him and have confidence in his ability to guide you;
  • Acquire facts to find out what is really behind the challenge (avoid zeal without knowledge);
  • Seek to see the challenge the way God sees it (spiritual eyes) and use the weaponry he prescribes;
  • Don’t be easily discouraged or distracted as you take on the challenge (be persistent).

Today’s Question:

Are there any changes you would like to make based on our study this week? As others have done during the week, please consider sharing what you would like to change so we can pray with you.
