Theme: The Wisdom of Discipline
We conclude another year of 40 Days of Discipline with our final review. Over the last five days we used symbols to reflect on Jesus’ demonstration of love during Holy Week:
- Monday – Tears.
- Tuesday – Overturned Tables.
- Wednesday – Perfume.
- Thursday – Basin of Water.
- Friday – The Cross.
The symbols are all reminders of the matchless love of our lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. Hopefully your review of the postings and commentaries will further inspire you to enthusiastically celebrate His Resurrection. He is worthy of our worship!
Thank you so much for being a part of this journey! Special thanks to those who contributed comments and devotional readings! I pray that we will continue to develop a deeper appreciation of the wisdom of discipline, and more importantly, that we continue to grow in our walk with Jesus.

Happy Easter!
The love shown through the death and resurrection is one that remains and is always available. It ushered in a new way of life for people who would receive it, and it’s available for you today.
This love that Jesus expressed is the same love that moves in us—the church—today. His sacrifice, his endurance, his surrender was always meant to be the beginning of a movement, not the end of one.
We end on Easter the way we began on Palm Sunday—in celebration! Except this time, everything is new! Our hope endures; our faith is strengthened and love remains. This is good news.
Reflect on Mark 16:1-16
Thank you very much Norman for another 40 days of discipline bible study. This becomes a part of my lenten season every year since I met you in the church in Trinidad and Tobago. Thank you too to all the members. I learned so much from all of you! Enjoy the Easter Sunday. We are one day ahead here in Japan. Will prepare now to go to church.
