24 How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. 25 There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number— living things both large and small. (Psalm 104:24-25, New International Version)
7 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; 8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. 9 Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? 10 In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. (Job 12:7-10, New International Version)
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. (Romans 1:20, New International Version)
Theme: Rejoicing and Thanksgiving
Context:
Thanks again for the excellent comments on yesterday’s post! Today we turn our attention to the discipline of seeing God through His creation.
Meditating on God’s creative acts is an excellent avenue to rejoicing and thanksgiving. Whether it is the grandeur of nature (e.g., over 3,000 tons of water flowing over Niagara Falls every second), or the miniscule particles essential to human existence (e.g., over 85 billion neurons in the human brain), or other products of God’s creation, we are drawn to rejoice and give thanks.
Bible Passages:
Please study the Scripture passages above and consider the questions below.
Questions:
How does creation inspire you to rejoice and give thanks to God? Are you especially in awe of any particular aspects of creation?
Please leave a comment. We would love to hear from you.

God’s creation is awesome, amazing and so worthy of praise and adoration. Whether it is the complexity of the human body, the amazing humming bird or that every snowflake is unique, all provide me with reasons to give thanks and rejoice. There is a fantastic documentary called “God of Wonders” presented by believers who are scientist. I am sharing the link believe and encourage you to view it. https://youtu.be/6NIB_n8Y66o

I’ve always been fascinated by outer space. It is beautiful, it’s diverse in all that it shows us, incomprehensible in terms of the distances involved yet so exact in everything being kept in place. We are exactly the right distance from the sun to survive as we do. Nothing random about that. All praise to the God of the universe for His wonderful creation!

First of all, if the wonders of the world aren’t proof that there is a God, I don’t know what it is.
When I think of the Grand Canyon, or Niagara Falls, or the aurora borealis, I can’t help but express how awesome and great God is.
Humans are the particular aspect of creation that boggles my mind. We are so complex, fascinating, intelligent, and capable of awesome abilities. No doctor or scientists will ever fully understand us humans. We are incredibly intriguing.

Each morning I give the Lord praise and thanks for blessing me with sight to see the beautiful birds singing their early morning praise to Him, to see His glory in the multitude of colourful flowers around, the different and varying shades of green in the trees on the hills around me. Seeing these things makes me wonder and try to understand how some cannot see and believe in the God of all creation.

Looking at God’s creation …. the beauty of nature especially during spring time, the uniqueness of each individual, all animals, and creatures of the world, by simply gazing at what is around where God has placed me at this time of my life, and with all the people surrounding me each day, is exceedingly enough for me to praise God and be appreciative of all of His creation. It prompts me to praise the Lord and be grateful for all of His wonderful creation that I enjoy, motivating me to be responsible for what He has bestowed on me as His child. The fact that I am also included in His creation is something that inspires ,encourages, and certainly humbles me to strive and live my life for God’s glory. My God is amazing! I am full of awe, wonder, and reverence with overflowing thankfulness to my God , the creator of the universe.

One thing I am in awe of, is how earth and other planets orbit the sun in fixed pathways, speeds and distances from the sun & each other. Although knowing its the gravitational pull of the sun, it’s absolutely amazing. How did they even get there? So much more, even the organization & structure of ants’ nests.
