Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22)
Today is dedicated to reviewing what we have learned over the past five days. We have covered the Disciplines of Service and Stewardship. This is a good day to check out the comments if you have not already done so.
Ask God to help you to apply the lessons from his word to your life.
Something to think about:
What did you learn this week that you can apply?

I continue to pray about the emotional roller coaster ride I have been on over the past months because of my job. I have been thinking of the disciples in the midst of the storm and they allowed their emotions to get the best of them and not consider their Identity and the Identity of who was in the boat with them. I’m a daughter of the King. I’m important to Him. He is aware of the storm raging around me. While I wait for Him to calm the storm I need to manage my emotions and rest. 🙂

I am inspired by your commitment to wait for God to calm the storm. We can learn important lessons when we wait, especially in a storm. You are loved beyond measure, and in His own way and in His own time He will speak peace. 🙏🏿

This week’s summary for me is a gentle reminder from the word ” to trust in the Lord with all my heart, and lean not unto my own understanding”.

I’m reminded that God’s view of service is different from the view commonly held by people. What matters ultimately is what God thinks of my service.
