Glory Hallelujah – He is risen!
While driving today, I listened to a National Public Radio program in Florida where individuals explained why they are atheists and why the Christian faith is futile. As I listened, I was reminded why what we experienced over the last 40 days has to be about more than rituals. This is truly about life and death. There is a world that needs to see us living with resurrection power. The words of Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:17 came to mind, “ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”
Without the resurrection of our lord and savior Jesus Christ the atheists on the radio program would be right – our faith would be futile. Praise be to God though, they are so wrong! Jesus is alive and because he lives believers “have life and life more abundantly”.
Let me end this year’s journey with the doxology from Ephesians 3:20-21:
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Happy Easter! This last message on our 40 day journey truly blessed me this early Easter morning. I feel so privileged to be a child of God especially at this time of the year. What a great gift of salvation and grace! My wish on this Easter Sunday is for all my loved ones, relatives and friends to know the Lord, accept his gift of salvation and enjoy the relationship of walking with the Lord Jesus Christ every single day. Easter just like Christmas is the reason for HOPE and LOVE. I like it that Easter is celebrated in Spring time as it is about new beginning and blooming of flowers; with the Gospel we can share our faith and grow with the Lord as we live our Christian life. Obeying God’s word and enjoying HIS grace result into a life filled with joy even though we have struggles along the way. Life is easy when we walk with JESUS. Enjoy the resurrection day! What a JOYOUS occasion
A friend once told me that life is hard and you can walk with GOD or walk alone – leaning on whatever support you can muster perhaps your intellect, family and friends .
It is as stark as that.
And I couldn’t agree more that Christians must live with ‘resurrection power’ – be a living witness – as the first Christians were – witness with your life, not only your deeds. (I have read that the most generous people are Christians and atheists, so you see non believers also do good works) . What resonates with people is your out-of-this-world attitude. May people be drawn to your light, life and joy. A joy that is down in your heart!
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. (John 15:11 KJV)
What are these things? – LOVE, FAITH and HOPE
