Theme:  Rejoicing and Thanksgiving

We covered a lot of ground this week in our consideration of Counsel, Creation and Sabbath.  Today is dedicated to reviewing what we have learned over the past five days.  Please take the opportunity to catch up on any comments you have missed throughout the week.

Question:

Did you encounter any concepts, scripture passages, or comments that enrich your practice of rejoicing and thanksgiving?

Please leave a comment.  We would love to hear from you.

  1. The comments were inspirational. It helped me see that life is a struggle for everyone. Rich or poor, big or small, believer or non believer alike. But when we believe in and are obedient to the commands of Jesus Christ this enables Christ to live through us giving rise to rejoicing and thanksgiving in every and all circumstances. Knowing this we can rest in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and give up striving – God will give the increase.

  2. Everyday, I make sure I read God’s word to inspire and encourage me.
From our. study this week, I’ve been immersing myself in this verses below….

    1 Thessalonians 5:16
    Rejoice in the Lord always.

    Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always for this is God’s will for you.

God’s word is a light to our path. Holy Spirit reigns in our life and it is indeed a gift. Grateful I have such companion every day.

  3. 1Thessalonians 5::18. Which tells us that It is God’s will that we give thanks. Therefore I must rejoice & give thanks continually and in all situations. For me, it is not easy to do that. I prayerfully ask for God’s help to do that.
