Did you take the time to focus on miracle of human life yesterday? We are wonderfully made and this says something about our creator. Remember this is the “take the time to smell the roses” Discipline. You will really benefit from pausing to pay attention to things you have not paid much attention to before. All that is required is your prayerful time and concentration.
We are going to continue to use scripture passages as a basis for meditating on God’s creation. Today our passage of scripture is Psalm 19:1-2:
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
So, our focus today will be on the skies. During the day you can look at the sunrise, clouds or sunset. At night you can focus on the moon, stars and planets. If you are fortunate enough to have access to a telescope, use it tonight. Take the time to consider the vastness and beauty of the skies and the greatness of our God.
